Zeus

Once upon a time, way up high on a mountain that touched the clouds, lived big, grumpy giants called Titans. Their king, Cronus, was afraid his children would be stronger than him, so he kept them hidden away where they couldn't play. But one special baby, named Zeus, was saved by his mother, Rhea. She hid him on a secret, sunny island where he could be safe. This is the story of Zeus and the Creation of the Olympian Gods.

On the sunny island, Zeus grew up big and strong. He played with happy goats and drank special milk that made him brave. When he was all grown up, he knew he had to rescue his brothers and sisters. He traveled to his father’s big castle and played a smart trick on him. Pop. Pop. Pop. Out came his family. There was his brother Poseidon, who loved the big blue ocean, and his brother Hades, who was quiet and thoughtful. His sisters Hera, Hestia, and Demeter were free too. They were so happy to be together for the very first time. But the grumpy Titans were not happy at all.

Zeus and his family had a giant, noisy game with the Titans that shook the whole world. They climbed to the very top of the tallest mountain, Mount Olympus, and made it their home. After a long, long time of playing, Zeus and his family won the big game. They became the new guardians of the world, called the Olympian gods. Zeus became the king, and his bright thunderbolt helps him light up the sky during storms. The story of Zeus reminds everyone that when you work together with your family, you can make the world a brighter and happier place for all.
